Joel, another American who was working at the Flying Pig, was in the process of gathering people together to form a Squat in a nearby house that he found to be unoccupied. Legally, if a home is left unoccupied for a year, you can take it over and it will legally become yours. All that is required is a lamp, a table, and a chair.
